Our bodies communicate with us on more levels than most of us understand. Lifestyle choices, repetitive training, work postures, and injuries all cement themselves into our tissues over time. Unprocessed stress and emotion often manifests as persistent pain in the body.

Left unaddressed, our bodies develop elaborate and interconnected networks of compensations in an attempt to correct for these factors , but these compensations often come at a cost. Stiffness, asymmetric tension , numbness, tingling, pain, weakness and reduced energy.

If you feel limited by your body, if you feel like you've lost movement, strength, or capacity, Bodywork can help. This beautiful approach emphasizes deep tissue muscle release in conjunction with a powerful rewiring of your central nervous system. We rebuild your minds relationship to the entire network of your body, rather than just treating the pain locally.

Bodywork is a profoundly impactful way to reconnect to your whole body-mind system. To reclaim communication and control of suffering tissues and move through your world with new ease.

For athletes, Bodywork helps deepen your communication with your body by upregulating proprioception, hydrating tissues and increasing blood flow to high use areas. Pairing Bodywork with your training may increase performance, recovery time, and fine motor control regardless of how you use your body in sport.

Some Body Language services can be submitted to your benefits, contact us for more information.

Kyra & Matt are pachakuti mesa carriers from the Shamanic tradition in Peru.
Kyra has a diploma in psychedelic assisted therapist from Vancouver Island University.

Matt is a certified Trauma Informed Therapist through Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training.

This modern and deeply humanizing approach emphasizes gently exploring our emotional and embodied experiences through a delicate mind-body dialogue. Together, we explore, reprocess, integrate and understand your relationship to  life,  traumatic experience and internal family systems ( IFS ). Somatic, sonic, and bodywork tools may be used in exploring your relationship to your trauma. When we become conscious of our pains influence on our behavior, emotion, embodiment and personality, we can rise to our highest expression. We can transcend the pain of our lived experiences and reclaim our relationship to our body, mind, spirit and emotions.

With higher consciousness we become mindful of the ways our trauma has shaped our behavior,  molded our personalities, created our addictions and self imposed limitations in life. From this place of deep mind-body understanding we are empowered to live life fully in the present, free from the blind spots and burdens of our trauma. Transcend victimhood and reclaim your highest expression.
